Eligibility

When these plans are a good fit

  • Scope: Technical SEO and site health, no link building or content campaigns.
  • New to Webmarks: Start with a website audit to confirm fit, set priorities, and align the quarterly cadence, then move into a Site Health plan once we know what matters most.
  • Plan changes: Switch tiers at the start of any quarter. Upgrades can begin immediately if capacity allows and are prorated.

How it works

A planned retainer with regular checks and clear communication

Hours are planned quarterly, with a summary of work and next priorities so you always know what is happening.

Planning and governance

Hours are scoped each quarter, then summarized with a short changelog, outcomes, and recommended next steps.

Health checks

  • Monthly health checks: uptime, performance, SSL certificate health, broken links, mixed content, Lighthouse metrics, sitemap, DNS.
  • Site Health Lite: lighter touch, focused on quick wins and hygiene.
  • SEO and Site Optimization: deeper diagnostics and fixes where needed.
  • Rank checks are included for SEO and Site Optimization.

Response and QA

Next business day acknowledgment for high impact issues that affect indexability or analytics continuity. Checks before and after CMS updates. Quick fixes for broken or misdirected links, minor template errors, and analytics triggers. Most quick fixes are resolved within two business days.

Quarterly audit and refresh

Site Health Lite: high impact checks, light Core Web Vitals tune ups, and a concise roadmap update with next quarter priorities.

SEO and Site Optimization: deeper diagnostics for performance and indexation, structured data polish, and a prioritized roadmap with specific fixes and timelines.

Quarterly reporting

A consolidated changelog of monthly checks, actions taken, issues resolved, outcomes, notes on analytics changes, and next quarter priorities.

Tools used

Behind the scenes I use specialist tools to crawl your site, monitor uptime and errors, review Search Console data, check layouts on real devices, and keep analytics simple and trustworthy. You see the outcomes and clear notes, not tool noise.

Analytics ownership

On Site Health Lite, Plausible runs under my Webmarks account and the cost is included. On SEO and Site Optimization, analytics are client owned. I configure, validate, and maintain events and dashboards in your Plausible or GA4 account.

Scope and guardrails

Included in SEO plans: version checks, plugin compatibility checks, staging rehearsals, deployments, and post deploy QA for technical SEO work and related updates.

Out of scope: net new features, large template rebuilds, multi page rewrites, and custom plugin fixes. These are estimated separately or handled with prepaid hour blocks.

Upgrades and capacity

Major CMS upgrades are scoped, rehearsed on staging, and scheduled in a maintenance window. Routine minor updates stay in Managed Hosting and CMS Maintenance. If work exceeds the hours in your plan, we schedule it across quarters or use a prepaid hour block, and everything is logged in your quarterly changelog.

Growth add ons

Add focused growth work when it makes sense

Enable add ons quarterly, usually one at a time (two if capacity allows). All add ons ship inside the quarterly cadence, with ad safety and conversion tracking validated before spend.

Reporting and results are summarized in your quarterly report.

Content

Publish one article per month that drives internal linking and search visibility.

  • Brief to publish, outline, writing, and editing.
  • On page optimization and schema.
  • Internal links to key pages.

Google Ads

One campaign, bi weekly optimizations, conversion tracking. Ad spend is client billed.

  • Account setup or refresh, conversion tracking verified.
  • Bi weekly bid and keyword tuning.
  • Ad copy tests and negative keywords.

AI visibility

Make target pages easier for assistants to cite and improve answer accuracy.

  • Concise FAQs and definitions.
  • Sourced statistics and citations.
  • Relevant schema and tidy meta.
  • Editor guidance on titles and summaries.

Newsletter

Ship one newsletter per month aligned to site content.

  • Light: copy edits and template tweaks, one monthly send.
  • Full: drafting and editing, light design and template updates, one monthly send.

Scoped to your plan capacity. Larger campaigns are quoted.
Add ons can be enabled one quarter at a time, or paused the next quarter. Billed quarterly, and requires Managed Hosting and CMS Maintenance.

Who this is for

Small teams that care about a healthy site

Small businesses, non profits, and community organizations using Craft CMS or Statamic. Available to current clients and approved migrations across Western Canada, and right for small teams that update content occasionally or publish regularly.

Working with agencies

A technical partner alongside your SEO agency

If you bring a specialized SEO agency for off site work or link building, I collaborate smoothly with their team so recommendations turn into changes on your site without friction.

  • What I do: implement technical SEO recommendations once you approve changes, clean indexation and redirects, Core Web Vitals improvements, analytics setup and verification, Craft CMS and Statamic changes with minimal back and forth.
  • What your agency does: off site SEO, digital PR, link building, large scale keyword research and content campaigns, authority building, and competitive analysis.
  • Outcome: faster execution on your site, clear reporting, and fewer delays.
  • Portability: you can change agencies without disruption or extra costs, since technical changes are handled directly on your site.

Your technical partner

One owner for hosting, DNS, and CMS changes

I manage hosting, DNS, and CMS operations so campaigns move fast on a stable foundation. This protects search signals, keeps measurement trustworthy, and gets approved changes shipped quickly.

  • Single accountable owner: deployments, redirects, and analytics integrity so everything stays consistent.
  • Protects your high quality site: canonicals, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals remain accurate during agency work.
  • Faster execution, less risk: changes are rehearsed on staging, logged, and rolled back if needed.
  • Trusted reporting: events and conversions are validated, dashboards stay concise and correct.
  • No unnecessary rebuilds: improve what is already strong, add only what drives outcomes.

Frequently asked questions

Practical details about maintenance level SEO

Designed for maintenance level SEO, with clear answers to the questions clients ask most.

In scope, technical SEO fixes, rehearsal and safe deployment, post deploy QA, and release notes. Out of scope, net new features, template rebuilds, multi page rewrites, and custom plugin fixes. Those are quoted separately or handled with prepaid blocks. Plans support Craft CMS and Statamic. Migrations are by approval and scoped separately.
CMS upgrades fit inside plan hours when capacity allows, and are always scoped and rehearsed on staging first. Larger upgrades are scheduled across quarters or quoted separately. Minor updates stay in Hosting and CMS Maintenance.
Each month, I run health checks. Each quarter, I complete a deeper audit and refresh, depending on your tier. High impact issues get same day acknowledgment on business days. Emergency fixes for broken redirects and 404s are prioritized inside your plan hours.
I set up clean properties, goals, and events tied to real outcomes, with lightweight dashboards and Search Console integration. Plausible is used for privacy friendly, cookie free tracking. GA4 is used when you need richer attribution and consent applies. Post release checks keep your data trustworthy.
Directional only means we track a small set of priority terms to spot trends over time, not exhaustive keyword monitoring or daily fluctuation reports. It informs technical SEO decisions without spending hours on full scale tracking.
Lite uses Plausible under my Webmarks account by default. Optimization uses Plausible or GA4 under your account. If you want to move from one setup to another, I handle the migration and keep support inside your plan hours.
If you do nothing, quiet problems pile up. Pages can drop from search, Core Web Vitals get worse, redirects and 404s add up, and analytics drift makes reporting unreliable. Regular maintenance protects rankings, preserves visibility, and keeps your data clean.

Not sure which service you need

We can figure out the right path together.

You do not need a perfect brief. A short conversation is usually enough to see whether you need a new site, an audit, or a care plan.

Bring what you have, a link to your current site if it exists, rough timing and budget, and a sense of what is not working. I bring questions, experience, and a calm view.

If you want a sense of what working together feels like in practice, you can read client testimonials.
